Default Warranty question...

If I put an intake or something to that extent on the engine does it void my warranty?

Only if the dealership can prove it was the intake that caused the damage.

Oh, so if it's a tranny problem and I have exhaust, intake, or an ECU recal they can't do anything?

And about the ecu recal... would that just flat out cancel it?

What is an ECU recal? Your ECU isn't reflashable if thats what you are talking about.

Before modding the car get all maintenance taken care of and make sure nothing is wrong with the car. If something goes wrong with your tranny a intake and/or exhaust shouldn't effect their coverage of it.

If they find out you raced the car (as in on a track) they can void the warranty.

The Man can and will void your warranty for any reasons. The most common are: [I]driver abuse, tracking the car, improper maintenance, driver is not

You can always pull the intake and return it to stock before taking it in for service.
