it's totally worth it. i LOVE my s2000 it's my daily driver and i'm not letting go of it...ever

 

why did you pay $40k?

 

If I was ever told that, i would assume its nothing but jealousy.

They've probably never driven one or experienced the sheer thrill the S can give.

But hey people like that can go drive their SUVs or Hybrids. I know what I like and someone else's opinion isn't fact to me.

 

Either that or they have a problem with Hondas. I remember when I bought my car, my friend with an EVO IX was like "dude, that sucks...I would never roll with a Honda." He was kidding, but he was also serious.

That's okay though, if you want to compare Honda and Mitsubishi...I'm game

 

Whatever you paid is what you paid. That part is over.
Do you like the car?
If you do then enjoy it without regards to other people.
I think you'll find right here that a lot of people enjoy it.

Some people don't have that chance everyday or weekend.

eh dont worry about what others say.. just think.. alot of people out there love your car and wish they could get one.. think of it that way.. besides there will always be people dislikeing the things you like

 

Some people think 0-60 performance is all that matters in a car and if your car is slower than theirs, its not worth it. Others think 12 cup holders, heated seats and if your car does not have them, its not worth it.

Others like me are all about the corners, I narrowed it down to 2 cars, Lotus Elise or S2000, the S won out, yes the Elise would be better in the corners and yes its much faster and it looks way better than the S2000 but the new car in my driveway is a S2000, did I waste my money ? Nope, life is too short to not drive the car you want.

They make lots of cars, Coupes, Sedans, SUVs because we are all different, you chose the S and he did not, either its not his style of car or he is jealous.

 

The car is worth more than what you paid in pleasure alone.

 

So what Car does this guy drive that is so high and mighty and worth his money?

 

tell him his haircut was a waste of money. unless hes bald. in that case, just point and laugh with your top down.
