I know it's spring but... You couldn't do better than MSRP on a car in it's 8th year of production? Maybe it's the area you live in.

+ taxes license,
The govn't has to get their slice.

extended warranty
So I would assume to plan on keeping the car awhile, otherwise...

and gap
Only because you didn't put enough (read "anything") down. You don't need gap insurance if you're never going to be upside down.

= just under 40k financed

think so jack? ion what do you guys think?
This tells me you really are trying to figure out if the car was worth it...

1) The deal is done and you can't stress about what you paid for it anymore. It was apparently worth it to you at the time.

2) Who cares what this "guy" thinks it's worth. Some people see the Honda logo and their judgement is made (and most likely wrongfully so for ALL Hondas).

As I already stated, he is either jealous and/or ingorant.
- If he was at all jealous, somehow it made him feel better about himself by hopefully make you feel worse about yourself. Apparently it worked because you've got a whole thread about it for all the world to see.
- If he was at all ignorant, he most likely made the comments because he doesn't understand the capabilities of such as car, or any Honda for that matter.

1. That was rude of him even if it WAS a waste of money.
2. If you have doubts, it just may be a waste of money.

4. I have an NSX and E46 M3...... S2000 is my favorite......

I'm sure most educated people [on cars at least] would say someone that blows 150k on an Aston Martin is an idiot because it probably can't beat a s2k around a track, is as reliable as a suzuki swift but costs more than a suzuki swift everytime you get it serviced, and it has terrible resale.

However, if you've got the cash, the Aston would sure make me a happy camper. Just looking at it every morning would make my day.

Wouldn't worry about it. He either drives a) a camero or b) a truck with garbage in the bed.

Who cares what some tool says. If you can afford it and it brings you happiness then that's all that matters.
