CHECK IT

Is this a Short Ram or CAI?? Do you think I should go with AEM or would this do the same?

Shortram.

(I have one if you want pictures)

It has dual inner tubing so the outer tube is usually hot (Cold Air ones also get hot) but the inner tubing is usually very cold.

I am convinced that it has improved my fuel economy xD

EDIT- I recommend not purchasing from that eBay member. 93% is very bad.

I would avoid AEM and these cheap intakes. I almost hydrolocked twice now because of my damn AEM V2. Stay stock or spend more money for a real intake.

Fresh pics for ya.

Dirty I know xD

Dual Tubing

My bro in the backround xD

Everything that came in my package.

You can't really hydrolock shortram intakes from any sort of driving. (Unless it's underwater driving, which the stock intake would also hydrolock xD)

I wouldn't go so far as to say AEM V2 isn't a real intake. It's fine if the car is your weekend drive, or if you live in CA where it doesn't rain as often.
If it's your daily driver and you drive in the rain a lot, I would get Comptech. It's the best performing in the sub $500 price range. Beyond that, with Js and Mugen, you are just getting bling for th extra money. A Spoon snorkel isn't a bad idea either.
I like the fact the Weapon R intake has 2 pipings, but it's still sucking in hot air.. At least it doesn't warm up MORE when it's in the tubing! I still want to see it in person, Will!
