I have been throwing around the idea for a heavier shift knob, but I am so in love with the SHAPE of the stock knob that I don't feel going to a complete sphere would be worth it. If there was a knob that was shaped like stock, counter-sunk, a bit heavier, and under $140 I'd be all over it.
Did you know that your dealer carries an OEM Titanium shift knob. It's the same shape as your existing knob, but heavier.

I also want one that is leather wrapped so it doesn't get so flaming hot in the summer.

I'm in the lighter knob camp. IMO a trans with a linkage benefits from a heavy knob but for the S2K a light knob is better. As an earlier post said, you can feel each shift. I tried the Voodoo Magnum, liked the countersunk position but it was too big for my small Asian hand. Skunk2 was too numb feeling and up too high. Currently using the Mugen dildo knob while I work on getting a Sparco round to sit lower.

I knew there was that OEM Ti knob, but how much of a hassle would it be to get it counter-sunk?

How much does the OEM Ti knob weigh anyway? I weighed my '03 stock knob here at work and it was 240g. If it is heavier than that I'd get it.

Can't be very cheap to get the stock Ti knob. I went ahead and ordered a weighted knob from TWM, should be here in a week hopefully. Got it in their Gun Blue, which is like a low gloss black. I'll let you guys know how it is.

Thanks for the help.
