The Voodoo counter sunk knob is the way to go. Great feel and look with the S's console.

I've had the Voodoo knob (pearl) for a couple of weeks now, and I love it. My shifting is so much smoother and quicker than it was with the stock knob, and I love how the knob feels in my hand. An excellent (and, I think, essential) mod!

Are all the Voodoo knobs heavier? I just ordered a polished black knob from Rick's. Is there a difference in weight between that and the titanium?

I have a Vortech supercharger and after the blower went on, there was a pronounced vibration coming through the stick which I didn't like. The extra weight of the Ti knob helped to dampen the vibration considerably. I wouldn't be without it.
I also have a TI knob, the Honda TI, and my RPSS has never buzzed, but I don't have anything to compare it to because it's the only knob I've had on the car.

I will say that wood or leather doesn't get as hot or as cold as metal.

Does anyone make a knob with a flat top? I been searching on the forum for hours and seems like most have a ball type knob.

Trying to find one like my 335 has.

I have the ARC TI knob.

It definitely sits lower than stock. The weight of this knob is actually a tad bit lighter than the stock one.
my ARC Ti is heavier than my OEm..

Spoon, available in either aluminum or plastic, also TWM makes a flat top billet knob. The BMW knob is so sharp maybe you should just adapt one for the S.
