It can indeed be fixed! I had a beautify in that spot, as you can see. Paintless dent repair guy made it utterly disappear. I cannot find any evidence of it now.

Its a shame you already had kids with her, otherwise I think we all know what the simplist solution would be j/k man. I hate Door dings but it happens. Good thing is any kind of body damage can be repaired. You could of course try to explain your position and hopefully she will be extra careful around at least your car.

i got a door ding the first week i got my s it was also on the body line and it drove me crazy. of course i got it fixed the next day lol
