-- and to the OP, sorry to hear of your "loss" so to speak. I can imagine car salesmen get the handshake and 'i'll be back' speech often, so not altogether surprising to hear of the outcome. But I guess some of it depends on how much time and rapport you had put into that dealership and salesman. If you had spoken with him on several occasions and he was fully aware of your honest desire to liquidate assets and come back 2 days later, than he is a shadeball and that sucks. But I am a salesman, so I understand his side- you always take the guaranteed money.

its something that falls in the category of preferences and opinions. i dont like salesmen - likewise, i dont have a high opinion of attorneys, chevrolets, bleu cheese, and the color lime.
so somehow im dumb for not favoring your line of work?
