Most aftermarket knobs will be heavier and that absorbs vibration and provides dampening which smooths out the entire feel of the shift mechanism.

The spoon Ti knob is featherlight and feels like a hollow eggshell, and there are reports of cracks around the thread. The one I looked at had a visible seam and was just not a substantial piece.

The Voodoo Ti is much more substantial with a more solid heft to it, I guess because it is solid. The word "indestructable" comes to mind. Oh yeah, the fact that it is countersunk is a bonus.

A great investment - other than the steering wheel, the shift knob is the part of the car that we touch most often...

Same as all years. Screw it on. Set it in place with Blue Loctite. Cake.

Besides the throws being shorter, I've found that the shifts are more precise when you snick them in gear. It's a wonderful feeling . . .

Here's my recently received Magnum Pearl

Be aware that the aluminum Voodoo knobs are lighter than the leather wrapped stock knobs. Even the Magnum aluminum is a fair bit less heavy. The Ti Voodoos do weigh more than the stock knob though.
