NA-1,

Sorry, I don't know much about it.

Scroll down and click on the HandA-Accessories.com banner; they've got it for US$31.20. They have the installation instructions PDF file available on their site, so you can see what's involved.

You might try posting a new topic specifically asking about the engine block heater, too.

The alarm that 1Y2KS2K is referring to is a Hofco. They are based in Culver City and they make one of the best alarms around, in my opinion. I've had Hofcos in all of my cars.

My friend that installed it also connected the trunk release and the door unlock functions to my alarm remote. Basically, my alarm remote has the same functionality as the remote supplied by Honda. I can also buy a module to have my alarm remote open my garage door too.

The sensor that 1Y2KS2K is referring to is a proximity sensor. I have a single mode sensor. This means that it senses a single zone (inside the cockpit). You can also get dual mode sensors that can sense two zones (1. inside the cockpit and 2. the surrounding area). The dual mode sensors are usually the ones that have that annoying warning trigerred when someone gets too close to your car. (Please step away from the car). In a Hofco, if a dual mode sensor is used, the exterior zone sensor will cause the piezo to start beeping faster and faster as a person approaches. My friend that did the install prefers the single mode sensors. He says they are more reliable.

Hope this helps. If you go to Hofco, they will send an installer to your home to do the install. I don;t think they'd go all the way to Canada though.

I've got the block heater...once installed, there's a little plug that will be in your grill area...you just plug it in and let it heat up the engine block. On really cold days, I'll have it plugged in for about 2 hours before I go anywhere. It's nice too because I like to think that it helps against engine wear in a cold start.

Installed the Clifford Concept 600 in the S2k. It has radar sensor, shock sensor, immobilizer, anti-carjacking, and more. You can check out some install pic:
