Sorry man but no respectable business sends ANY customer product out in a manner that cannot be tracked, specifically because of situations such as this.

I bought a set of wheels from a reputable online distributor and they were lost in shipping...I dont think there is anything I can do.

EDIT: yes it was through the great USPS

I would buy from an actual business next time, that really sucks for you. I will never again make the mistake of buying from a person unless i can pick it up myself! Too many people are getting burned from this type of situation. Seems like they just....forget.....

Sorry, but until the goods get there the responsibility is on the seller.

The only exception to this is if the seller has a 'no-USPS' rule and the buyer insists and is fully notified that it is their responsibility, and agrees.

Brandon, unless you can prove the above I would suggest that it is in your best interest to supply another set at your expense. Otherwise, I doubt anyone around these parts will want anything to do with your products in future.

The method we used was the cheapest solution to get the springs to him, i dont think paying $200 for Express shipping is reasonable or was deamed the proper method by the customer.

You messed up and what do you do? Blame the US postal service. Did you pay cash for the shipping or charge it? Show us the receipt. And who in the right mind would anyone ship something like that without a tracking # anyway?
