Thumbs up What coils or shock/spring setup best for comfort?

I'm in the market for a new set of coilovers or even a shock/spring setup if that is what I need to do to get something more comfortable.

I have Tien FLEX right now and the ride is very solid and makes the car handle great but my g/f hates the rough ride so it has to go. Anyone want a set of mint condition coilovers? (under 3k miles)

Not as much concerned about the price as the ride quality. I want something that isn't mushy but very compliant for daily driving (no track time with this car). We take long trips and it's got to be comfortable. I love the ride / handling mix of the new E55 AMG so that is what I'm looking for. Solid but forgiving.....

The Tien Flex springs rates are at 559/671 but many members say it's not spring rate that matters but more the valving of the shocks themselves?

Right now I'm looking at:

1) Tien CS coilovers

2) Bilstein PSS9 coils

3) KW V2 coils

4) Koni yellow shocks with H/R or Eibach springs?

I am not too familiar with many of the JDM brands so if you guys can make some suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Or give me your personal experience!

thanks,
rick

My brother has the PSS9s on his '06 with stock wheels and I think it would definitely deliver what you're looking for, at least with it set to the softer side.

Where did you guys buy your PSS9? Price?

I've had that setup on my m3 before and very happy with them on that car.

If I can stay away from springs/shocks that would be perfect since I like the ability to adjust as needed.
