Default What color costs the most

I've followed the sometimes hilarious "which color is fastest" threads. Just for the heck of it I went to Edmunds site to see what the pricing difference between the colors was. Turns out people pay most for Suzuka and least for Sebring. The difference is about $100 with rest in the middle. I have a hunch the cars with the red/black seats probably command more. I also wonder what the manufacturing proportion of each color is. Not looking for a flame war but I thought it was interesting.

I hadn't checked Edmunds for awhile and I think S2k prices have firmed up some since I last looked in May. Could be the summer effect.

Just wait for the new 06 colors. Navel Fuzz is the fastest color going!

I can hardly wait for 06's. Then I can do another snappy cost analysis on them.

Darn! Guess I overpaid $100 for the silver. See me in bankruptcy court.

I paid less for my 01 ITR and 01 S2000 because they were yellow. Of course, given the tickets I ended up paying more if you think about it.

I paid a premium for my second S2000, 00 black/red -- because I wanted that color and it was hard to find.

P.S. Never buy a black car.

Navel fuzz is always some shade of blue.

We knew about this several years ago. Here are a couple of very old threads about the color differential:

At the time, MY2000 GPW commanded the biggest positive difference compared to other colors.

I too thought GPW was the most expensive. I also think Spa is the cheapest, though I don't know why. I figured Silverstone, Black, and Sebring would be pretty high and safe since everybody likes them. I figured Suzuka and NFR would be right above Spa.. Interesting!
