I'm at 105k and no indication that valves were done prior. With that said, Billman said nothing felt out of spec. I got pretty lucky that I was able to purchase my CR from the original owner (female-owned) and so was used mostly for highway driving, never abused. I was happy to get all maintenance items addressed for peace of mind.

Still hunting down a rattle in my door. With the outer window trim molding off I can hear it better. It's coming from somewhere near the handle in the outer shell of the door. With the outer door handle in the open position I can get it to go away. At this point I think it's the rods that connect to the door handle. Either way, a teardown of the door handle and careful reinstall should take care of it.
New pre-painted door handle assemblies running $95 and are back in stock. Going to replace both handles, and tackle this rattle at the same time to make the most of it. My 2005 could use some fresh handles. They still have the OEM paint and aren't looking so fresh 17 years later.

Also some red alcantara door inserts are on the way. Woooo buddy. I went with the AP1 design with a 3d padded effect. Red alcantara/red thread. Should look good in my black/black AP2.

I drove car car for the first time in months after i put it down to put the intake manifold back to stock. My first attempt at porting ultimately failed. I made a few HP with the enlarged throttle body and intake manifold but created a small vacuum leak that ruined the driving experience for me. I also broke the knock sensor with my ham fists so had to replace it. The electrical connector on the wiring harness broke when removing it from the broken knock sensor. I found a FL local company selling conectors on ebay so bough a replacement and got some fuel injector connectors while i was at it. Repinning them was easy with an eyeglass screwdriver. Runs perfect again and looking forward to more street driving.

Swapping a Novi 1000 for a 1200. Darn supply chain issues mean I have to wait a few weeks for some rid bits.

Decided, only slightly reluctantly, to sell it.

It's been sitting under its cover in the garage for a few months now, and I rarely get the chance to drive it. Then my wife was in a car accident a few weeks ago that wrote off our Q7, and her safety is more important than me having a someday sportscar, so it's on the market to free up money to get a later model Audi Q7. It was great while I had it, but it's time for someone else to look after it for a few years.

None of you will want it though, because it's thousands of miles away in Wrong-Hand-Driveland.

I'll get back into a fun car again one day, Maybe a K-swapped Miata, for a lightweight, chuckable thrill. Or possibly an old Audi, because I hate having money but love having issues I can never fix.

Installed a new clutch master cylinder.

I couldn't get the old one to stop leaking, and I don't know its age... it was stamped "Nissin" so could very well be the original. I kept it, just in case I can rebuild it should the new one start leaking in the future.
