Changed all the fluids, replaced all the front suspension components, new clutch master & slave, replaced rear lower control arms, new brake pads and rotors in the front, replaced shifter grease and components, replaced the o ring on the front cover Allen bolt, new radiator, new boots on the axles, new valve cover gasket, adjusted the valves, now just waiting to get a new timing chain tensioner.

Ive added a tanabe catback exhaust and still waiting for the berk high flow cat.

im keeping it NA since i absolutely enjoy it in its stock form. I have over a dozen of other cars including a K24 swapped 05 Miata NB which is very similar to this but the AP1 is a little more precise.

bought new to me 2003 AP1 with 211k miles.

Congrats! You are doing a lot of work. I'm curious...does your S2000 have any trouble towing that trailer???

thanks!
yeah I’m just trying to get the car up to par on maintenance so I can truly judge it on its baseline.

it struggles a little under 5k rpm but once Vtec comes on, it pulls the trailer like it’s not even there!

Drove over the Erskine Bridge which spans the River Clyde from South to Northenden.Followed the A82 which is a lovely drive & able to open up on ( at sections ) round Loch Lomond taking in the views.
At this time of year & early afternoon the roads were dry ,free of salt/grit and pretty quiet. The trees are beautiful in their autumn.
Headed to Crianlarach for lunch at the Drovers Inn one of the oldest oldest pubs/inns est 1750.
Enjoyed the food & a pint of Guinness 0% then wandered home through Hemsburgh.
Life was good

Still have the tonneau cover on it, top down. Drove it into town now the fog is gone. I did have a down vest on and leather gloves for the sporty feel. No rain in sight so it is still in action.

I need to post more to get messaging privileges but I changed my diff fluid (75W-140 Amsoil) and trans fluid (Royal Purple Synchromax). The heavier weight diff fluid is great for heat and doesn't drag much in the winter and the Royal Purple is butter smooth when shifting year round of all the trans fluids I've used. Swapped all three VTEC solenoid gaskets and the screen. Have to swap out my Öhlins with some HKS Hipermax while I send the Öhlins to Shaftworks to rebuild. Ordering a ton of parts to change the timing chain as I found slack when doing a valve adjustment. Now I need to order the Billman TCT to stop dealing with TCT issues (this will be my 3rd since I got my car--current one is still good but I'll pop on the Billmans and be done).
