Changed my clutch master cylinder, flushed the fluid (brakes also), and installed OEM wheel well lines. The previous owner had started to rice it out, and did not keep up on maintenance. I'm slowly bringing her back to her original state with the exception of aftermarket wheels.
Changed rear brake pads, rear bumper tab relocation and drove it 120 miles round trip to Hilton Head Island cars and coffee and a good lowcountry brunch.
Not today, but Saturday replaced the rotors, brakes hoses with Goodridge Stainless Steel braided ones, pads with Carbotech AX6, and new OEM headlights. The weekend before put in a set of Polk Audio component speakers and stuffed extra padding in the seat for lumbar support. The weekend before that put in a Sony head unit and modifry DCI.
After I purchased my 2007 GPW late last fall, my 20 year old never got to take a ride before it went into hibernation. Last evening, during the unseasonably warm weather spell, she took her maiden voyage. Now she wants to learn how to drive her. What have I done?? Peace and warmer weather is on it's way!!
Lifted and rotated all four wheels 180deg to prevent flat spots. She's parked on styrofoam pads, so rotation is not really needed but well, at least I feel like I did something

Styrofoam doesn't really support the tire as you may think. There's no real support strength to Styrofoam. These work though -
Actually when you lift the car tires leave a very nice impression which exactly matches tire diameter on styrofoam, and they look more/less like homemade flatstoppers.
