Replaced the 17 year-old OEM HID bulbs with a pair of Osram CBIs. Lux meter app on my phone indicates almost double the output so that's money well spent. Most of that is probably just due to age.
Could have used these the other night when I did a track night in the dark. A little scary having to "use the force" to locate my braking points.
I had Zeal Function X Coilovers with 10F/8R swift springs. Just swapped over to Feals 441+ 14F/12R swift springs. So far love them, can't wait to get my alignment and dial them in.
This was the final step of the paint correction process:
- wash
- CarPro Trix (iron + tar remover)
- fix all medium/large rock chips (and wet sanded them down after touch-up paint dried)
- clay
- CarPro Eraser wipe-down
- compounded (Megs M105)
- polished (Megs M205)
- Eraser wipe-down again
- ceramic coating
A before pic of one of the many swirl monsters that are all gone now. Good riddance! All done! I got lucky today with the weather and had a great top down drive. Absolutely love this car. Such a treat to drive.
I'm trying to install my Saner Moddiction Swaybar but the holes dont want to line up easily ...
Gonna loosen the bushings bracket on both sides and see if I can get the bar angled better when I'm off work.
