Yea, just make sure you have the right tools. For the rear you need the adapter to screw the Piston in (can rent from auto parts store or buy on Amazon for cheap). Fronts you can push the piston with a c-clamp. Once you know what you're doing it takes longer to raise the car and get the wheels off than doing the pads.

Could you provide some details regarding how you chose to go about this? Were you able to spot the wear on the soft top from inside the car?

Sure. I inspect the top regularly with a bright LED light looking for wear areas which look a little grayer and material frays. This is what I do to the INSIDE of the top. Since owning 7 years, I've always repaired top wear areas and small splits the same way. Leave the top latched. Spread an old towel over your lap and over the interior.
1. cut repair patch to size and round off any edges- no 90 degree edges as they may lift over time. Clean with isopropyl alcohol. Clean repair area with alcohol.
2. wear rubber gloves and spread BLACK SILICONE over the top and 1/4 inch beyond the repair area. Spread black silicone over the material side of the repair piece.
3. Press the repair piece from the bottom and top to secure and position.

Don't open your top for at least 24 hours to allow the silicone to set and cure.

Good luck.

I want your car! Beautiful man. On topic today I left my S2000 in the garage because it’s my wife’s turn to drive it
