BTW its been over 30 years since I actually worked on my own car, I used to work on my Datsun Roadster 2000 when I was a teenager. The S2000 reminds me so much of my old Fairlady.
Nice! When I was a kid, one of the teachers at our high school who was also the basketball coach and well over 6' tall had one of those Fairladys. I was always envious of the car (his was silver) and was amazed that he could even fit in the thing. I ended up with a Triumph Spitfire as my first car. Congrats on the S2000 and welcome back to the world of turning your own wrenches. Personally I haven't had to do anything beyond basic maintenance tasks but so far I've found this car to be a real pleasure to work on.
Replaced my OEM radio with a new Kenwood head unit with Bluetooth and installed my Modifry Radio Bracket Combo to hold my phone. Since I was in the area I went ahead and did the Shifter Rebuild.

Does your mute button still work with the radio upgrade?
I started the repair of my upper bolster after taking the seat apart for rebuilding the lower thigh bolster. The filler is curing and I will dye it tomorrow night. I had the dye custom mixed to match a scrap of door card leather since there are three shades of red used on the S2000 interiors. Most dye manufacturers sell only one which doesn't match the AP1 red. The pic below makes it look like the surface is rough but it is actually as smooth as a baby's bottom after 80 grit sandpaper. I think three coats of dye will fix it right up and then a coat of sealer.

I wish I had the balls or knowledge to attempt something like that. I'll eventually just get replacement seats or hit up a upholstery shop when my seats get bad. Can't wait to see the outcome though.

Cr seats installed last week and put in the cr shift boot
Those seats look great. Alcantara armrest would match really well... just get the same color as the top of the seats. (alcantara 9002 possibly?)
And if you're feeling really spicy you get the matching door inserts too. Redlinegoods has a deal if you buy both. Install is pretty easy.
