Seems the same as my OEM alarm, just easier installation. The OEM alarm goes off too when there's a disturbance in the interior, like when I keep my top down and someone reaches inside, it'll go off. This masterlock is cheaper, but I'd rather spend a little more for more safety, i.e. pager alarm.

 

I don't feel so confident in this device, very obvious and indicates to thieves to unlatch the hood and disable the siren first (like they often do anyway).

I prefer stealth, with as little info about the model of security system as possible to tip off the crooks.

Also, secondary battery on the siren is nice.
