I didn't care for the stock aluminum knob either. I thought that it was way too slick. I told the dealer that I would be more than happy to take the car off of their hands as long as I had the titanium shift knob in the car.

It doesn't seem to be as slick as the aluminum knob, plus I like the looks of it much better. I didn't want to go the Voodoo route, either.
