But is it worth having a little heat when shifting (probably 5% or less for me when driving) or having it all the time on your right hand while on the wheel? (95%)

It doesn't even heat shiftknob at all for me. I mean unless you got some shiftknob sitting real low. I also don't know if it's useful at all. I mean you take less than a second to shift and how can that possibly do anything.

i think that it comes out above the radio not to warm your shift hand lol but instead because with the top down the air coming out of the top vents on the sides of the dash would be sucked right out the window. nice theory on warming the shift hand though! haha

i wondered about this setting and what it does is it heats up your thighs when you're driving for a long time in the highway. that and your feet so the warmer air goes upward, and takes care of you and make sure your thighs aren't cold.

because your thighs the only place that will stay in one place under the sun or during the cold weather.

it helps me out on a long drives with the top down. it works and you get a nice appreciation of it after a while.
