I thought it stood for S2000 International???? DOH

No semi seriously, Two things for me in a nutshell friendships and knowledge.

I am very thankful for the many wonderful people I have met through this site. The feeling of community and sense of a common obsession runs very deep here in the Delaware Valley. I can only hope other local forums are as lucky as I know are members feel we are!

This site is so chock full of tidbits and information sharing about are wonderful cars. I couldn't imagine a better venue for this exchange. I cant imagine NOT having this site now! This sounds like a good spot to put in a plea for more guests to become owners! What's 20 bucks???

I've met local S2000 owners and enjoyed it. But most of all I have learned tons of stuff about my car that I couldn't have learned elsewhere. Plus got to laugh at some of the little "fights" on certain topics. Thanks to the site. It's great!!

I agree with all of you. Below is a link to a thread that illustrates what Ernie is talking about. It's definitely worth the read. Stuff like this just makes the work day so much easier to deal with. Buying a membership is the best $20 I've spent in a long time and the site just keeps on giving and giving.

Turbo - why don't you make this current thread a note and pin it to the top of this forum just for a week so it gets some notice.

YeloS2000ShowGrl, I so completely agree with you.
- The things I learned prior to getting my car were instrumental in many many ways
- Some of the people I have met I suspect will be a part of my life for as long as I'm alive
- As a community organizer I'm honored to be part of such a great community and enjoy making my region grow
- I know if I have a question about my car, I can get an answer and a variety of opinions on any subject
- Having this forum sure makes the winter storage months easier to deal with
- As a long term automotive enthusiast, a driving school instructor, an avid Honda fan- both cars and bikes and a board member for my local BMW CCA chapter, it's a great feeling to know I have something to offer the s2ki community

It is actually funny because I miss the people I have met through S2ki more than the car itself!!! It is absolutely amazing the level of detail that is "common" knowledge just because of this site.

I tell you the BMW forums don't have sh!t compared to S2ki!

I've stuck this thread. I don't think we've ever had a thread that specifically asked "what does S2KI mean to you" and I think the guys who put countless hours in to this site deserve to see why they're doing it. All I can say as to what I get out if this site is that I've met more great people through this site than through any other single endeavor in my life, I've learned more about my car, and I've gotten to watch the S2K community grow from a cult into one of the best clubs on the Internet. I also, like many of you, spend WAY too much time here, but where else could I go and enjoy myself so much?
