The local Chevrolet dealer I talked to about the LS7 crate engine said his computer system reads 300 lbs. net weight for that engine...I've read that the F20C is around 360 lbs..

I cannot, however, verify any of this info. I've spent a couple days trying to find definitive exterior dimensions and weight for these two engines without any success.

Would you mind expounding on the details? What was the cost? How much time to complete? Was it done shade tree or by a shop (shops)? I'd appreciate any more info you might have.
