Default what exactly is hydrolock

ive got a CAI on my car and it has been raining its ass off here. What are the syptoms of having a hydrolocked engine??? Power loss or what???

yeah when u hydrolock, your engine basically seizes up. there arent any symptoms leading to an affect... it just happens, then you're fooked.

I've hydrolocked my car twice during startup with an aem intake. I have since changed back to stock. No adverse effects to the engine so far.

If you're lucky you can remove the plugs and turn the engine push the water out.

If you're unlucky you're going to bend or break a piston rod, then you're screwed =\

nah that's just an engine swallowing water.

hydrolock is when an engine swallows too much.
