Default What the f|_|k?

so three weeks ago, I take a co-worker out to lunch and I let him take the key on the way back - no prob UNTIL he parks it INTO the curb - ughhh.

So no problem, it looks like someone as trying to eat the bottom edge with a fork. Fortunately he's a car guy and promises to make good

Today, he shows up at my house with a load of crap and makes it look pretty damn good, (plus we touched up some other stone chips, etc.)

I'm feeling pretty good now.

He takes off and my wife has to go to some baby shower - she's was upset that t was such a gorgous day and the s2k was "under repair". Fortunately for her, we finished in time, and she took it.

3 hours later (after a great hike with dogs and baby - day COULDN'T be going any better) I check messages and my wife called and said, "I got something for you, are you there? never mind I'll see you later"

I thought that was strange so i called her on teh cell and she says "Did Phil leave the touch-up supplies at the house?"

yes if you haven't figured it - she ran up a curb less than 2 hours after the car being fixed.

I told her to buy me a front chin spoiler and we'll call it even. She said OK

You know after a week of owning my new S2000, i also parked up against a curb and scraped the underside and part of the lower bumper cover on its vertical side. Boy was i pissed and cussing at myself.

I ended up buying a coastal metals front lip splitter and it covers up any of the underside scratches and has a nice black rim protector on its front. I think its one of the best $110 bucks you can spend on this car, especially when people whom arent familiar driving cars with low front fascia's. I recommend you check it out or their standard piece.

Good luck

I may opt for the "splitter" route, since its a bunch cheaper than the OEM chin spoiler.

The thing that really gets my goat is I've had the car for over 3 years without incident - and now this...
