What foam to use to seal windows? Hardtop and soft
I've searched LOTS of threads, it looks like LOTS of people are having wind noise and some leaking issues around the driver's (left) side window at the back where it meets the hardtop. I think the fix is to add more rubber/foam to the seal that presses against the window, but I haven't seen any clear answers on what foam to use, or what weatherstripping to use. I would assume we're all looking for the following:
1. Looks good, and not like a hack of foam stripping hastily tacked onto the window. A thicker version of the standard foam would be nice, but I don't think it exists.
2. Is form fitting, as it has to go around the curves at the top of the window. Or, we could just tack the foam on the vertical part, but I don't want it to look cruddy where the new foam stripping ends.
3. Works! I would expect it to seal up the wind noise, close the gap between the window and the seal, and repel water.
Anyone know of any good foam stripping that meets this criteria?

the proper product for the rubber seals on our car is shin-etsu grease...
it restores moisture to the seals and "plumps" them up. its not magic and will not readjust your top- if you have wind coming in the seals it is likely an adjustment issue... but in any case the seals do need to be maintained- and shin-etsu is the product (you can get it from your dealer)
