You guys can take it one way, I'm taking it another. The comment can be taken both ways. I'm looking at it as insensitive word play. That's my opinion. You don't have to agree with me.
I don't know what race you guys are, nor does it really matter to me because I don't judge people according to race. However, if you grew up in a racist ass state like Alabama and had to endure people dsrepecting you and talking down to you because of the color of your skin, then you would understand where I am coming from. People becom extremely defensive when they constantly being attacked for what they are.
Riff raft is an expression used to descibe the lowest class of a population. If you throw "Africa" into that word play then to me it becomes a racist statement.
I know that the joke was about "rift" being used instead of "riff", however, I still felt as if the comment was in bad taste.

it has been said already, but i want to chime in...the car honda offered years ago was fresh, inovative, and really special. it still is, but there is little new to talk about.
there are new people on S2k all the time, new owners and fans, they find there is allot of stuff here, and there is...but it is not new stuff.
i want to blame honda for the lack of new stuff to chew up and share...so that means there are simple very few new things to discuss.
i wish they would change the car some, evoloution is the key. look at how the Z or miata have changed as example, or the vette, etc...
so...seems stale but there are still some new and interesting issues that pop up, i expect the next "new" topic will be the demise of the car, then again that has been a staple for along time, perhaps restoration will become the new deal?
