Default What header is best bang for the buck??

I heard people saying DC header is best bang for the buck, because it's the cheapest out there with decent quality. A lot people are interested at either Spoon, Toda or Mugen, I believe these expensive headers should have great craftmanship and excellent design, but is it worth the money?? I am planning to get a mid price header probably HKS or Fujitsubo. Those of you who got header replaced, please contribute your comment, and share your opinions. Thanks.

i personally run a toda, but 'best bang for the buck' and 'header' usually don't go together for our car. there's really not a lot of gains no matter which you run.

if you haven't already done some other work to your car, such as gears (4.57 or 4.77 would be my recomendation), then i wouldn't look at a header just yet.

None of the headers would be considered any sort of bang for the buck. They are all way over priced and none of them give any sort of power that justifies even half the price. Save up for a supercharger if you want more power.

What is wrong with the factory header? I've been able to get lots of power with it and no bucks.

hehe i think that's the thing, sideways. they did good work when honda made our header. there's not much room for improvement.

I have the Spoon header and love it. There is not much of a difference in low end but it pulls alot harder from 7k-9k rpms. I personally think DC is a waste of time, from what I heard they had to re-design the header because it lost HP in the begining and then re-design it to give no gain. I guess they don't have the technology to improve on the stock header.

I have heard the DC header is by far the worst.

And along the same lines . . . .. I've heard the HKS exhaust is the worst

Again, not my observations, just what I've read and heard
