My son and I are planning to buy headers for my S2kwhat do all of you guys recommend. I Heard and read that the Spoon 4-2-1 header was the best out there for the s .

Another question what exhaust system do you guys prefer .

 

i heard stock honda header is already built good,
honda did a lot of research on S2k header
plus i dont think none of the aftermarket header will really gain HP but it sure saves a lot of weight compare to stock one........

 

the gains you get on a header for the price you pay can be put to better use if your engine is still stock. i personally run a toda, but the stock header was very well built so most of the gains you'd see with the butt dyno would be from loss of weight and not actual power.

 

What about the exhaust?

 

Instead of giving you my opinion on the exhaust, just go and attend one of your local S2k meets and decide for yourself.

Spoon makes a 4-1, not a 4-2-1 header for this car.

Best is meaningless without knowing that you're looking for. Different header designs emphasize mid-range power, others emphasize top end so there's no way to answer your question without more information.
