If the S2000 was made out of aluminum, Im pretty sure it would feel similar to my car,as far as acceleration. I belive my miata only weighs around 2200lbs. Moves pretty good IMO

Thanks... I appreciate that Tell your roommate that for the money, the miata is one of the best cars on the road. Easy to work on, strong motors, and they handle awsome right out of the box! I've had mine for about 4 years now, and since then I've had basic mods done, then turbo kit, and now engine swap, and its the most fun i've ever had with a car!

I wouldnt put my trust too much in BMI my friend. Also which car overheated? Which car had a really aggressive driver? I believe it was the NSX-R. That particular NSX cost over 120k in Japan has NO luxury features no sound deadenin etc. It might hold up well in the corners but occasionally you would like to show off some straight line speed and not get smoked by anything and everything over 60k. Yes i know its such a great car but so is a P-car / Vette etc and they are not 16 years old. It would make a crappy daily driver and that is the whole point of the NSX: To be a exotic you can drive daily. The NSX-R is just like the Lotus, its a track car.
The NSX was ahead of its time and that time passed by around 1997 when everyone else upped the ante and proceeded to leave the NSX in the dust.
