What kind of adhesive to use to reapply badges?

Default What kind of adhesive to use to reapply badges?

Whats the best compound to use to reapply used badges back on the car? Thanks.

3M Supermount Tape. Any Lowes/Home Depot/Menards type place shoudl have it. Just clean everything with rubbing alcohol first!!

Yeah, use the tape...

Do NOT use the glue stuff... It will hold it on there, but you will never get it back off if you wanted to, it'll peel the paint right along with it.

you can also find the 3M tape at auto parts stores like Autozone or Advance. It'll be wider (about 1/2 inch) than you need--it's double sided--just stick it on the back of the emblem and trim it with a razor blade or exacto knife before you pull the other side of the backing off to stick it to the car.
(the 3M itape s the same tape used to hold the body side moldings and other trim items so it'll stck "forever")

The 3m tape that has the red paper on it is the best I have found
