Default How to get glue off!

So I removed my S2000 side emblem and it left some glue residue. I tried Purple Power, WD40 and that shit will not come off!! I use my finger nail to try and pry it off but that shit is STUCK ON THERE GOOD!!

Is there anything else I can use to get the glue off?

were they stock badges?

wd-40 should do it if they are... did you let it soak a bit first?

mr. clean magic eraser is another choice- pretty much a type of clay though.

3m adhesiver remover is the "heavy stuff" if you gotta go there... and be careful. test a small area first.

I tried to leave it on for a few minutes (WD40 that is) but shit will not come off.

The glue is like a double sided tape. I used floss to remove the emblem after heating it up with a hair dryer. The emblem is off, but pretty much the whole damn tape is on there.

Where can I get this "Mr. Clean Magic Eraser"?

with wd-40 you have to really work at it... can take quite awhile to get it all. took me several hours to get all of the crud off of my harley when i removed the reflectors a few weeks ago.

be very careful with the mr clean if you go that route- it has micro abrasives and can swirl your paint. the "test a small area first" is very important- worst case is you use it and then do a polish of the area.

i understand that walmart might have it

Thanks. I left the WD40 on there for 5 minutes, then worked it with a towel and alot of finger/elbow grease. I managed to clean one side up. It looks SUPA CLEEN with the side emblem shaved.

I'm done for the day. I got lazy, but tomorrow I'll finish the other side.

Thanks for the tip!! Will post some pictures up.
