Default "H" and "S2000" emblem shaving?

Just ordered "S" emblems from Rick's and wanted to know who has any info on what is going on under the stock emblems... two holes and two sided tape? Do you heat that stuff up good before removing them? Are the side "S2000"emblems mounted the same as "H" on front and rear? Thanks! Carbon Fiber Lip

The emblems can be safely removed with the same method you use to floss. There will be pegs for the Honda emblems, but none for the S2000 on the side. If you have a lot of 3M tape on the body after removal then you can use different solutions like Orange Glow, Windex, Simple Green... I would rather use a safer adhesive remover and clean the area after with soap and water to make sure that once the Rick's stuff goes on then it will hold better.

The badges you ordered from Rick's will come with detailed instructions on how to remove the "H" emblems. If you don't want to wait, there is a PDF file for download on the "Installation" section of their website.

So R-tistik are you saying if I remove the "S 2000" emblems on the fenders there will be NO need to fill holes? Thanks, CLP
