Default What to look for when buying my S2000

Hello everyone!

Im a college freshman who has been saving up for a while to get myself an S2000. I finally have myself some monthly income and will be purchasing an S2000 in the next 6 months or so.

I guess what I am looking for is a silverstone grey with a red interior (LOVE that color combo, but would be happy with almost any color) with LOW miles
As for year or AP1 vs. AP2, I really believe that both have their pros and cons. I like the AP2 looks more, Like the AP1 engine/RPM, Like the fact the diff. was beefed up on the AP2, etc.I believe I will choose based on the situation that presents itself (if I find a better deal I'll take it)

I have some questions for you guys and if you could help me that would be greatly appreciated:

1) What is a safe amount of miles to purchase an s2000 with. (Don't want to face high repair bills)
2) What is the limit where miles may be too high? (I want to use the car for at least 4 years)
3) Is the differential much better on the AP2 (I do like dropping the clutch every once in a while)
4) Is there a noticeable power difference amongst both generations?
5) Any good indications of use or abuse: what should I look for, look at, etc.
6) Any inherent flaws in any of the generations that I should research?

And if you guys have any comments or suggestions, they are always welcome!

Thank you so much for those who help me out! I really look forward to being part of the community!
