ugotmade--I was just kidding around. SC is miserable hot in the summer, but not 125 like Kuwait.

MsPerky--I've spent time in Kinston and eastern NC, too. Was there during the flooding--what a mess. Still miss eastern NC and that wonderful BBQ!

It's very rarely over 90 F here. Once in a while (maybe a handful of days per year). So its never been a concern for me.

Occationally I'll keep it down at 105, but that's only if I just got out of a freezing cold a/c building. Otherwise 95 is my upper limit.

This will be my first summer with the S2000, so I guess I'm going to find out. I usually travel to Phoenix several times a year, and temperatures of 118, 120, 124 are not unknown there. I wonder what I'll do about it. If you can walk around in that temperature, why can't you drive around in it? At least when you drive, you will have opportunities to speed up a bit and get a little breeze. I guess it doesn't help much if it's a hot breeze.

One thing is for sure: I will start investing in sunblock heavily. I made the mistake of going without on Saturday, and burned the crap out of my arms. That the last time that will happen!

Unless I have to be somewhere important where I can't be all sweaty, there is really no upper limit to the temp for me. I came here to Austin, TX last August and having come from NYC I must say that Austin is really humid. That's what makes it nearly unbearable when it gets near 100 degrees. I think that people driving in Arizona probably have it easier b/c it is supposedly very dry air. I have heard that Kuwait is the same (dry), but I have never been there.

My maximum temp is 75 degrees. Anything above that and the top is up.

95 degrees for me. Of course, I've had the A/C on since it reached 75 though.
