Default What Oil do you guys use?

I have heard some recommendations of what to use. But I wanna know what every one really puts in their s2k regarding differential and transmission oil and where you buy them. Let me know

for my 4.57 geared differential I use almasol and for the transmision just good ole honda mtf......

Good info, thanks!!!

I have heard of some GM stuff regarding diff. fluid, any info on this?

I think you're talking about the gm synchromesh I hear that work pretty well during the winter time, some like it some don't, but I'm sure others will chime in with more info on it......

for my 2001 S2000, i use

engine = amsoil 0w-30
diff = amsoil 75w-90
trans = amsoil TMF

ur looking for GM Syncromesh Friction Modified.... part #12377916
suppose to be really good too.

tranny: was using Honda MTF, swithing to Redline MTL this spring
rear diff: LE-607 Almasol

i use
engine: mobil 1
tranny: honda mtf
diff: 75w90 with ford friction modifire(every 5k, got these free)

Tranny wise I think I'm going with the gm synchro mesh

whats the best as far as transmission?

I went to Honda today to buy a replacement for the antenna that got stolen from my car today and decided to get my maintenance fluids while iw as there. I asked what kind of Differential fluid they had, and they gave me some Sta-Lube HYPOID SAE 80W90 Gear Oil. (this is exactly what it says on the bottle) Has anyone heard of this product or used it? I haven't opened it yet, so i can still return it.
