the amounts are roughly correct but you probably won't use all of the fluid in the bottles. there's a faq on s2ki with the correct amounts and how to determine it.

you need two washers each for the tranny and diff, one for the fill and one for the drain.

......and get the official GL5 spec approved, the dealership won't give a rat's ass what paper you show them.
Now I'm really curious [As you've probably guessed by now I'm retired and way too much time on my hands]. Do we know if the LE-607 has or doesn't have the "official stamp of approval" from API. I didn't find any such "stamp" on the Mobil-1 75W-90 bottle or any other bottle of gear lub advertised as meeting spec GL-5...just statements that it met the spec. Nor did I find an "official" API endorsement in the company write-up on the Mobil-1 75W-90 oil. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.

Could it be that it's illegal to put on the bottle it meets the spec if it isn't "approved"?

yes it would be illegal to put it on a bottle if they didn't actually get it approved.

it'd be like a home theater system getting the THX logo on it if they didn't actually pay to have it tested and certified by THX even if it surpasses their standards.

and Mobil 1 IS a certified GL5 oil, but LE 607 is NOT.

How many miles you have on your S that you haven't replaced those two fluids?

I just changed my diff and tranny fluid a week or two ago. I put GM synchromesh FM in the tranny and Mobil 1 75w-90 in the diff. I had originally bought 607 almasol for the diff, but after trying to pump it in with a $5.00 hand pump originally I ended up getting half of the quart on the floor and had to drain it out and replace it with Mobil 1.
