Good info! I do drive my s2k in our "winter"... Some nights I think it can drop down in the low 40's... Is that too cold for LE 607?
no. i'm talking single digit or worse temps. in fact, LE's pour point is -11, so if it gets colder than that (and it does here in the midwest) your diff might just destroy itself with LE in the diff.

I've driven mine down into the 30's with the LE-607, but I store the car for the winter. If I were to drive the car year-round, I'd switch to Redline 75W-90 November-March.
engine Mobil 1 10w30 synth
tranny Honda MTF
diff Mobil 1 synth
for the tranny, rather than switching to the gm stuff i am going to change it more frequently(every oil change). whenever the mtf is new it works good. makes me wonder which brand is really better or if it's just the new fluids that perform better.
Attached is a pic of part of the MSDS for LE's 607 gear oil. It say that it exceeds the GL5 API spec.
I wonder if the Honda people would accept that as proof that it's OK to use....
Herein lies the problem. They can do their own tests all they want, and exceed whatever limits they want in their own tests, but unless they follow the political tape route, and get the official GL5 spec approved, the dealership won't give a rat's ass what paper you show them.
Hey guys.. this is what I picked up... The gm stuff for the tranny and mobil 1 for the diff (i get mobil 1 products for free)... To my knowledge I need 2 for the tranny and 1 for the diff correct??? And just wanted to make sure I got the right stuff also, did I???
