Mobil One since 3,000 miles. I'm thinking of switching to Pennzoil Platinum Synthetic since it's cheaper and effectively the same level of protection for a car that is simple used for weekend pleasure cruising.

Few advices:

1. I would not trust any shop/dealership to do your oil changes, unless you know them well enough to direct them. Their are important details that entail with the filter. Mainly torque specs and not just hand tightening the filter.

2. Use OEM filter. Do not use the generic filters from Autozone, PepBoys, etc...

3. People recommend Mobil 1 synthetic, Royal Purple, and Amsoil. I use Mobil 1 10w30 and been very satisfied with it.

Big Motul fan here... and yes, it's really expensive too.

Used to be Mobil 1 but it shears like all hell and the UOAs show really low moly numbers, so I have been with Amsoil ASL 5-30, and new UOAs show good moly numbers and nice results across the board.

Back and forth between Motul 300V and Mobil 1 10W30 but always oem PCX oil filter.
I'm always in the high RPM range so I change my oil every 3000-4500 miles or when it gets dark
