Default what parts is needed to install hardtop on a AP2?

What would i need to install a oem or mugen hardtop on my ap2?

i am thinking of getting one but am not sure. I might just try to find the parts needed to install it and borrow a hardtop from my friend for a day or two.

I think the minimum is 4-6 parts (the 2 side catchers, 2 cut brushes, and maybe 2 panels- I do not remember)...I think that is about all I got when I bought an OEM top for my 04 from an AP1 owner...I did not have the defrost cable parts or 2 little rubber stops that go on the soft-top when placing it in the down position.

I would say my "swap" was the most typical of S2000 owners, as most people I know and read about do not usually go get the kit from HardTopGuy ($500 for MY04) or separately buy the parts from Honda.

If you want to see one on your car, get a friend with a hardtop, and remove the actual side latches from the top, then place it on your car.
