Default What Rpm vtec will engage ?

err guys i know this sounds like a noob question.... but i like to be reassured, on what rpm vtec will kick in on stock s2k ??im planning to change ecu, n i might take e manage..but currently i hav Vafc, which i think useless...what u guys think???

04, just finished break-in and the kick in the pants seems to occur at 7k rpm -later than I expected...

should be around 4500-5500

My '04 S2000 switches to VTEC at 6k. I use it sparingly... gas aint' cheap nowadays. But what the hell!!! Sometimes you just gotta get around the hay truck!

All of the "S"are 6K. And if you are above sea level, the Vtec will self adjust for optimal power. (Trust me)

vafc isn't useless if you get it tuned properly.

throttle position plays a part, too. so 5800-6200.
