For those saying ventilated seats...

I find that it helps to un-tuck my shirt and lay it over my seatbelt. Then when I rest my elbow on the door or hang my arm out of the side window I get a nice breeze through my shirt Makes topdown on a hot day way more comfortable.

This. And cloth interior (less weight, maintenance, annoyance with temperature swings, etc).

Also, after reading more of this thread... you f@#kers are the reason we will never get more cars like the stripped out CR which is what we NEED . You want crap like nav, heated seats, power everything, go buy the 45k+ boats that weigh 3800 lbs+... We need more cars like the BRZ that are spartan cheap race cars that offer bargain performance compared to competition. Fast car > nice car.

Everyone is entitled to like what they like and not be called names for it or be "blamed" for changes in the types of cars being built.

^^ i dont think this is really meant to be name calling.

the S2000 is great, lots of options could be considered, some add to the car, others take away from it. all in all this car is great, i think if we all had enough money we'd have at least two of them, one to leave untouched, another to build and experiment with.

Indeed, tis why I put the silly face after it. I just find it strange how many people want the s to be a luxury car. Maybe I am out of touch in wanting basically a street legal race car for cheap moneys. Apparently people need creature comforts way more than I think . I drive in a non-ac car with top and windows up in 100 degree weather. Not saying I enjoy that, but it's bearable as long as I;m not in the car for more than 30 minutes and completely worth it for the loss of complexity and weight that comes with the AC system. I'd be 100% willing to have no ac for any drive duration if I could put my windows down.

If you don't intend to call people names and cast blame, then don't say, "you f@*kers are the reason..." You could have easily said what you just explained above -- that you are not in the majority about wanting certain creature comforts like air conditioning or cooled/heated seats -- without the colorful characterization. Cussing should be reserved for expressing upset, shock, or surprise and not be aimed at other people.

Auto up down both windows.

Brb auto down and still have to hold for the pass window.

Who drives with one window down anyways?

I wouldn't mind the extra visibility, on those occasions where I MUST put the top up, of rear quarter windows in the top, like the Fiat 124 Spyder had. No idea HOW but if Fiat can do it...
