Just added another protective (paranoia) mod to my list. See signature!

I also got a Helm manual. It's not a "mod", but it's the first thing I got for the car.

 

in no particular order, replace the speakers, take a serious driving course, stock plexus, do a nice mount for your streetpilot. I don't believe in fiddling with the mechanicals, but I'm a software guy, so what do I know. (other than that software guys with wrenches are scary.)

order a coastal metals bumper protector. i realized the need too late. many owners on this board have posted that they too scrapped the front bumper on steep driways, parking blocks, etc. only $90 and it keeps that low front bumper nice and safe.
