Default What are those two buttons for?

I noticed in some interior shots that there are two buttons (near armrest behind shifter) Not the warning signals or convertible button...are they the headlight cleaners?

Depends on the country. In the US it is the hardtop defroster and a blank. It fills in where the coinholder is located.

The other button you see is the headlights water jets.... very annoying if you have the roof down and you just happen to slide your arm down you get a nice refreshing shower.

Edit:
Yes the defroster button is only mounted if you get the hardtop.

In fact the headlight washer switch is so annoying that some people remove the fuse to disable it.
