Default What type of damage seen on F20C's blown from low oil?

We had a major oil leak problem on my car about a month ago. The motor definitely experienced some damage. There is some discrepency in my understanding of what type of damage a low oil issue can cause and what my mechanic is telling me. I am simply curious what types of physical damage people have seen from a low oil issue on their S2000. What I'm looking for is descriptions, "Spun rod bearings", "Bent rods", "Melted pistons", "Scored cylinder walls", etc.

scored cylinders is a good one for little to no oil

and spun rod bearings is up there too

as long as the car doesnt making an odd sound idling, it should be okay
