Im thinking about getting my after cooler polished since I pulled the s/c out. Im going to by another S2000 soon, but in the mean time I might as well do some cosmetic work to all the tons of parts I pulled off. What type of metal is it made of? I see all different types of polishing kits available. They seem to be metal specific.

Pretty sure the aftercooler is just aluminum.

Looks great. Did you send yours out to get done or do it yourself? Theres no one around me that will do it, so Im thinking about trying it myself. Any tips?

Most of it I did myself, but if I was gonna do it again I would send it out.
I had the J's oil catch can done by a pro and the difference is amazing

I would like to send it out, but I cant find anyone on the east coast to do it. If you have any recommendations, I dont mind sending to CA.

I use Mother's aluminum polish at it works great.
