Everyone,

Tonight when I checked my oil in my 400 mile S2K the level is down 2 XX's. Though it's prob OK I have a question. The oil cap says 10-W30. But the accord as well as other hondas used 5-W30. Whats the correct weight of oil?

I think Honda recommends only the S2K and NSX to use 10W30. All other hondas use 5W30.

I plan to use 5W30 on my S2K once my motor is completely broken in, some members have reported a stronger running motor with the thinner 5W30...

I just got my oil changed today at the dealership and they put in 5W-30. I think it says 5W-30 somewhere in the manual... hmmm

The Helm manual says 10W-30 for normal temperature service and 5W-40 for temperatures below zero F.

In Denver right now, use 5 or 0W30. When it warms up, use 5 or 10W30
