My original plan when i but my s was to weekend warrior it and dd the civic as well. The civic sat in my driveway for a year and i ended up selling since i never drove it. Keep driving that s!

I would just do what makes me feel good. I use to feel the same way you did. In fact I put 10,000 miles on my S since I purchased it back in Oct of 13. Thats a lot of miles especially when school and work is only 8-12 miles away. I could use a secondary vechicle at any point. But the s is made to enjoy and its reliable enough to be trusted.

You should drive the car you enjoy driving the most. So drive the civic on the weekend and the s2k as commuter?
I drove my s2k 200k miles in ten years and it's all worn out and all but still, all the enjoyment is worth it.
I think the most enjoyable car should be the daily commuter

Drive it. When you die you won't care about the miles on your cars.
