My S2K doesn't get nearly as much attention and questions as to what it is as my S14. Part of it is the fact that the S14 is de-baged. But I have to say most of it is because you just rarely see another around here and it's a freaking cool looking car if I do say so myself.

 

On a test drive in the 370Z:

Saleslady: "So what do you drive now?"
Me: "A Honda S2000"
Saleslady: "Ohh, well this is definitely a step up from that"
Me: "Uhh... yeah, I mean the S2000 is a little bit sharper handling-wise but this has more power for sure"
Saleslady: "Well yeah that's because Honda doesn't make V6's, this is a V6"
Me: "Really? Hmm yeah well mine is 4 cylinder"
Saleslady: "S2000, that's like a Civic right?"
Me: "I'll show you it's right over here"

*pulls into neighboring Honda dealer lot where my car is waiting to be picked up after a service*

Saleslady: "That's a HONDA?"


Pretty sure she liked my car better than the Z

 

Porsche?! Really, everyone in Canada thinks the s2000 looks like a miata. I can only wish I got porsche. But, as was pointed back at me in the other thread, I dont mind hearing miata anymore.

 

Someone mistook my old silverstone AP2 for a Ferrari once.

 

That was why I tried this plate, but nobody understood.

i say, "its a honda 2000 Lmao" and drove off,

was cruising trough down town and i heard a comment from the street "... Prowler..."

so i guess someone called my car (cr) a prowler.

 

Some douchebag at pep boys this morning called my S a saturn sky. I told him it was quite an insult to make that comparison.

 

^ An police officer wrote on my ticket, Saturn as the make and left the model space blank. lol

 

I get " did Honda just come out with this car?"
